One gets the feeling, with #Terry, that the real sticking point was that "the company would not promise not to do it again", but if they'd apologised and made that promise. Well, Terry would have probably quietly admired their chutzpah. The adverts would have had to stop, been apologised for, but he'd have probably let them keep the licence to print the books. Or maybe not. You never could tell with Terry.
The members of the Guild of Assassins considered themselves cultured men who enjoyed good music and food and literature. And they knew the value of human life. To a penny, in many cases.

pterry was a genius. He understood humanity, deeply and thoroughly. And he could convey that in writing. That's double-genius, or at least 1.5.

It's coming together nicely. Some great performances. We're at the point now where I have a rehearsal just about every night until opening, despite all my other commitments, so please come and reward my perseverance!
There was a time, when I dearly loved #TerryPratchett and #DouglasAdams, and they will always have a sweet spot in my heart for the many laughs and for all the cultural heritage, they left us.
However: Whenever I now grab one of their #books, their style and language feels terribly outdated and, frankly, boring to me.

Thankfully, the error is in a pre-release at least. Crashes are not nice.
