To that end... #WebVTT subtitles can support a variety of CSS effects. What is needed is a #foss#VTT editor that provides some facilities of #MotionGraphics design for text. Does it exist?!
This would NOT get you to the level of Night Watch but better than current levels.
Despite not having a lot of time for games programming these days, I’ve been a long-time follower of @godotengine and @gdquest in particular, who make awesome content about the engine.
"Trip to Infinity" is a #Netflix documentary about... well... infinity. It relies heavily on #MotionGraphics created by artists and studios from across the world. I've tried to look up everybody who's mentioned in the credits but unfortunately, not all of them present their work online.
Here's a small thread of the clips that can be found on vimeo for example. But let's start with a nice article about how the documentary came to be:
👋🏼 HNY! Thought I'd do a quick #introduction now I've moved to mastodon.social.
I’m Guy, an independent designer making websites, apps, motion graphics + that sort of thing. I consult with organisations small + large on their digital products, branding, motion graphics and more.
My version of a kishimisu (instagram.com/kishimisu/) style shader, after following his YouTube tutorial but in #webgpu. Mostly all things are translatable from #glsl to #wgsl
I'm looking for a #Motion or #FCPX generator that would create sort of Plexus-like lines, neuron-like structures ideally with light pulses, paid or free.
Any ideas? I haven't found anything like that for Motion. I need to use it on a lot of shots in a FCPX project and have it somewhat controllable from FCPX, otherwise I'd just do it myself in After Effects and render as video.
Hey Fediverse, I'm looking for an alternative to Adobe After Effects (Windows), specifically for 2D animation and vector-based motion graphics. Anything you can recommend?
(It doesn't have to be free; just no subscription model, please.)
