This episode was the most heartwarming and heartwrenching story, almost of the whole series (though you can't deny the impact of Ellie and Riley, or the final hospital scene). It had me floored, and I believe my wife too. This strawberry plant scene shown here was the cutest ever... "Not on the strawberries!" <3
Too many are living lives estranged from their families (or certain family members). One of the most painful rejections is to be shunned because of who you are and/or who you love. My heart goes out to all of those hurting this time of year...May you find "family" that celebrates you!
#RIP: My beloved cat Sam died of kidney failure last week.
We spent 11 years together and he helped me survive some of the worst years of my life. He was so much more than a pet—Sam was my best friend and a great companion.
Like I told him often: “I love you Sam, now and always.”
A little LOVE tonight...I had fun with this piece. I hand placed each rectangle to form the dimension and I liked it. But it felt empty so I kept going back to it for about a week. Then had the idea of ascending hearts. That was it! It just makes me happy. :)
“If you have men who will exclude any of God’s creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have men who will deal likewise with their fellow men.” ― St. Francis Of Assisi

The Philippines is a conservative Catholic-majority nation, and many queer folk there feel excluded by the traditional church. They're turning to Roblox Filipino Catholics (RFC) as a more inclusive place where they can practice their faith. @restofworld's Patrick Kho spoke to queer Catholics about how they're finding community, preserving heritage, and even changing minds in this new space.
Ms. Rachel — aka Rachel Griffin Accurso — posted a 25-second video on the first day of June, wishing her audience a happy Pride. A slew of right-wing figures blasted the viral kids creator, who has 10 million subscribers on YouTube and 2.1 million followers on Instagram, and encouraged parents to bar their children from watching her videos. Accurso responded to tell viewers her faith is "really important" to her, and part of the reason she chooses to "love every neighbor." This is not the first time she's drawn the ire of conservatives — last year she faced complaints because she featured a nonbinary co-star in her videos. Here's more from NBC.
