Das Logo der neuen Meta-Plattform „Threads“ ähnelt dem Logo der Webseite apotheken.de, fast wie ein eineiiger Zwilling.
Zufall oder Kopie? Das Beispiel zeigt jedenfalls wieder einmal, wie vielschichtig die Auswahl eines guten Logos sein kann und dass man im Vorfeld gut recherchieren sollte. Auch wenn heutzutage in vielen Bereichen weltweit ähnliche Muster oft nicht ausgeschlossen werden können.

Two weeks after launch (mid June 2018), a logo contest was organized by the community with a cash prize of donations (80% of winners donated back to the project!)
What an amazing part of our history, that was really special and energized my passion for this project!

I really loved @FixedFun 's idea for the kbin mascot, so I decided to refine it a bit and make some color alternatives. All credit to them for this wonderful idea! I merely refined it. Note, the circles beside the logo are just a color pallete swatch, not actually meant to be apart of the logo....
This #logo on a bus today is sending me. The bus had A huge text ”Christophoros”, i.e. St. Cristopher so that must be him, or an astronaut, carrying baby Jesus, or a smol astronaut.

OC Here's the nice Kbird with changes that people suggested, is OK if it isn't the mascot of Kbin but it will always live in our hearts, the real mascot was the friends we made along the way.

OC Here's my final idea for a Kbin mascot, I call it the "Kbird" (K = Kakatuá), since someone shared a Fediverse flag resembling a pirate flag I thought a bird mascot would fit.
