I wonder what #ardour is doing different to #bitwig in terms of their #flatpak builds. I noticed that some #plugins run just fine in Ardour while Bitwig Studio reports problems with reading metadata or glibc version conflicts. 🙄️ #sandboxing#debugging#daw#linuxdaw
Added plugin version and wrote a small crawler to fetch latest versions automatically. While I was at it I also added support for crawling prices. Both of these would be hell to maintain /update manually.
Slowly, but surely, I will start adding versions to plugins where it makes sense.
Lastly I added "favorites" functionality as an experimental feature. You can "star" plugins to make a "collection" etc.
Officially they don't support linux, but it's build with JUCE, and someone made a fork with build-instructions, so looking forward to try i out this evening.
Thank you VAST Dynamics!
I like this trend, more and more people open source their plugins.
Default sorting on the site is always latest additions/updates of plugins to the #linuxaudio world, so you can pretty much use it as "news site". We also have a RSS feed for the old-schoolers..
Any good stuff missing? Just let us know, contributions are most welcome :)
