I watched this hummingbird feed on several flowers then fly up to perch on this branch for a while before going back to the flowers. I also noticed the tongue was starting to come out in this photo.

The visits of the ruby throated hummingbird are getting shorter each day. The fall migration starts as early as Mid- July with the peak being in late august and early September.
