People buried alive at al-Shifa Hospital

“There were also bodies in the reception and emergency department. Part of the department was completely demolished, and the rubble and debris were moved over the patients.”

“The bodies we found were on beds at the reception and emergency department, meaning Israel destroyed the department over the heads of sick and injured people – and they were buried alive.”

According to Al Jazeera, citing a member of the Palestinian Civil Defense, his team stands ready to compile an evidential report for an independent investigation into the mass graves discovered at ’s .

Mohammed al-Moghier emphasized, "We are ready to assist their work in order to compel the Israelis to refrain from committing crimes against people in Gaza."

Al-Moghier also reflected on the toll of working in Gaza for the past months, acknowledging that some aid workers are traumatized after being unable to save people they attempted to rescue. "Some of our members are suffering from traumas, which is affecting the way we can carry out our work,".

He added that others were infected with diseases when they unearthed dead bodies from under the rubble without necessary precautions due to the lack of equipment.

PS. Don't expect EU or US to send any investigators there.

-Texas Med Ctr in , where Bynon oversaw both liver & kidney prgs, abruptly shut those down in the past wk while looking into allegations.

Thurs, the ctr, a UTexas teaching , said it had found evidence a in its liver transplant prg had effectively denied patients transplants by changing recs. Ofcls ID’d the dr as Bynon, who is employed by U Ctr & has lead Mem Hermann’s abdominal transplant prg since 2011.

…Ofcls began investigating after…a complaint. An analysis found what the #hospital called “irregularities” in how #patients were classified on a #WaitingList for liver #transplants. When #doctors place a patient on the list, they identify types of #donors they would consider, incl’g age & weight.

Hospital ofcls said they found patients had been listed as accepting only donors w/ages & weights that were impossible—for instance, a 300-lb toddler—making them unable to receive any transplant.

All that is left is a stone roofed building. Unfortunately the #bams have been at it and some of the information boards have been vandalised and torn away 😳.

One impact of COVID that we don’t talk about enough is how people are avoiding medical care because of lack of precautions like masking in healthcare settings. This doesn’t show up as COVID deaths or hospitalizations but delays in screening, diagnosis, and treatment increases the mortality rate of other diseases like cancer.

garrattguy,
@garrattguy@mstdn.ca avatar

@luckytran Am in that situation right now. Trying to decide if I cancel an appointment because both doctor and #hospital refuse to say masking will be used because “it’s not required, you can wear your own” and “you can cancel if you want - it’s your choice”. Some choice. Give up #care or go and risk life-threatening #nosocomial infection. Level of ignorance in medical staff & med admin is astounding. #covid

Does anyone knows any decent international organization that can provide medical assistance for person with ASD and ARFID, granted that there's most likely a lot of stuff outside of ASD and ARFID issues? Or even charity international organizations that can help in situation with health issues and whatnot. Thank you.

Oxford researchers looked at studies of healthcare and found they agreed on one thing: privatisation leads to poorer quality care for patients.
