Bet you didn't know this?

The colours on a barbers pole usually reflected the blood and bandages used to clean up during bloodletting.

Patients grasped a rod or staff tightly to make their veins show. Then barbers cut open their arms and bled them. The red and white pole is still used to identify barbers.

As long society accepts genital "surgeries" on babies so they conform to some bullshit norms, we cannot call ourselves enlightened.

"Two common goals of these cosmetic 'normalizing' surgeries on children’s genitals are to enable penetrative intercourse, and to help the child to and sexual norms"

Injecting toxins in my butt
Really, don't ask me, WHAT?
Makes it look better, they say
But for that, you must pay
Lots of money to push toxic goo
So the vain and egotistic people who
You hang out with won't judge
If you've eaten too much fudge

patients like me are rarely given any during most multiple dental works. Also, many people who work in areas in hospitals & day clinics are rarely trained on high-risk protocols for patients. In fact, I've been the one who has had to provide extra educational materials to medical staff who have worked with me - multiple times in my life.

Please help me spread more of PPS patients needs w/anesthesias.

Month until I am 30, and all of my dream are about relatives, dead, living, and imagined, and how would they react knowing I am trans and in need of surgery within 4 weeks.

I am trying to be chill, knowing that all banks have declined our loan, quick loans only offer 4K, and we are asking help from my partner's relatives...yet my dreams are mazimum un-chill.

Two banks have already declined our debt chances with them. Third will decline us too (they work with the same premise). I'll try second one again with different specs and if that doesnt work out, we will try the fourth, and last, option.

My surgery chances are becoming slimmer by the day, but I try to focus on surviving. I have to harden my heart and go on...I still have month and a half before my breaking point birthday.

The 2000 year old skull of a Peruvian warrior was found to have been fused together with metal in one of the world's oldest examples of advanced surgery, according to a museum.

Museum of Osteology in Oklahoma says the skull which is in its collection, is reported to have been that of a man who was injured during battle before having some of the earliest forms of surgery to implant a piece of metal in his head to repair the fracture.

I am stressing out a little bit.
I am going to have a procedure next week. Been in the planning phase for months. Before I got hired at my current job.

I filed for the leave since it will be more than 10 days for recovery.

I am denied for this. This means that I will not get any money this time off and will have to figure out how to keep my for being off past the 10 day limit.

I am in a bind. I was hoping for a small amount from leave and such. Now I will not be getting anything and I am simply not willing to postpone a gender affirming change.

Being trans and getting met with a wall that tells me I need to work a job for a year in order to get medical care is frustrating.

So here is my pitch.
I will be taking some pictures of my body and focus on the body part that will change. I will then wait for some healing to take place and follow up with a matching set showing the new look.

Did I tell you what this procedure would be?

So I will be pre-selling a set of 20 of my ass self nude pre and post .

If this is beyond your need or want, you could simply send me a few bucks to help a cat out.

I was expecting to get about $500 minimum from work leave. I was not asking for more than what I could slid by with.

If I can raise that before the I would be super happy. Short of that I will likely have to cry every work shift until then and be eating peanut butter a jelly sammish for food while I recover.

Please help me get some viability on this. I really want to feel safe after I come out of this period and I am simply not giving up on this simply because some red tape tells me I might lose my job. This is more important.

Awake at the ass crack of dawn, but we are now parked at the surgical center. Can't go in until 9am.

I'm a combo of nervous and excited. Most of my logistics work is done, although this parking space is a max 2hr limit so I'll need to find another once DS is in surgery.

T-minus 2.5 hrs til surgery.

Had the dressing change today. The surgical binder was cutting into their armpit pretty harsh. So we've adjusted that and added a dressing for the cut there.

Surgeon said they're healing even better than expected, so that's great news (ahhh to be young and healthy). Now we just have to change the dressing every 2 days. Sadly they still have to wait til Saturday for a shower.
