It’s been a good month for running. Steady pacing combined with speed work continues to see an improvement in my cardio fitness with VO₂ max levels breaking the 49 mark.
119km for the month; no niggles or twinges to report; warmer, brighter mornings, and a run in London with a friend from Uni made for a rather marvellous May!

Ottawa's tick population may get a head start this spring due to an unseasonably warm winter, researchers say.
Manisha Kulkarni, an associate professor in the school of epidemiology and public health at the University of Ottawa, said warmer weather could be the cause of a denser tick population in the region this year.
