Okay folks, in five days I'm out of work (we'll be fine!)
I'm exploring some interesting options for what's next, but job hunting is a roller coaster. Today's sure thing can be tomorrow's rug pull
So I'm putting myself out there! If you or someplace you know is looking for an experienced vulnerability researcher & reverse engineer, give me a shout
I have 24 years career experience and ~13 years in v/r & reversing
I'm a generalist Linux/BSD sysadmin, with a long (20+ years) and wide experience. System management, configuration management & other automation (salt, ansible, puppet), monitoring, simple tools and scripts (bash, python), infrastructure services (LDAP, DNS, some networking), general DB skills (not a DBA), devops-y stuff, interest in security, and more; long experience working remotely, some of it in multi time-zone
Two weeks ago, I said I would share more about what I wanted to do next. Well, I'm ready now!
I'm looking for a role where I can use my decade of developer-facing experience to help build technical products (and relationships) that developers will ❤️. #fedihire#jobs
Hey all! Do you love #Android and #ChromeOS? Our team is #hiring! We’re looking for a developer advocate (we call them Developer Relations Engineers) to join our team in Silicon Valley or NYC. You'll help developers optimize their Android apps for ChromeOS, teach them about large screen Android, work with us to build a happy and thriving ChromeOS developer ecosystem, and more!
Leads on decent online/work-from-home jobs would be a huge help. So many I see posted are just scams… I need a real job!
I’m tech savvy, amazing with customers (yay! for psych degrees), have high speed Internet and a MacBook… and I’m ready, willing and able to start working immediately.
I haven't sent this in a while, but I'm looking for a developer position. I've worked in a variety of platforms and technologies, from Linux to pre-.NET VB, but my core interests are Web and Perl. #fedihire
Small job search annoyance - got contacted on LinkedIn from a recruiter (at least they claimed to be one) about a role that I would be a great fit for, in a field I would be ok working in, for a company I would be ok working for (large non-tech company in a division that was formerly a startup they acquired)
But the job post has no salary range and the recruiter did not respond when I asked for it. I don't want to waste their and my time (I'm in CA, role is remote, company not here) #fedihire

The non-profit my spouse works for is hiring a front-end software engineer. "Cortico is a non-profit committed to fostering deep conversations and raising up under-heard voices. We don’t think we can solve these difficult problems with technology, but we do think we can make them easier to tackle."
I'm still looking for contract work! Architecture for computer services and products of pretty much any kind, software and infrastructure. Rust and Elixir are strong suits, distributed systems as well. I'm available for short term and long term contracts.
Here is my toot resume in case anyone has open positions:
Experience: staff software engineer, #backend#webdeveloper, #python, #django, #postgresql, #terraform, #redis, #rabbitmq, #kubernetes, #aws, #gcp
I get things done and worked with pretty much any tech out there. I learn fast, have no problem coding in other languages. I have experience leading teams. I helped growing an engineering team from 10 to 150 engineers. I know how to scale things. My code is resilient and has tests. #fedihire
