So the #Tesla#Cybertruck logo looks like "KKK" at the end. Seriously.
There's the K at the end, preceded by the C that's overstriking the U (that looks more like a V), and then there's the part of the R that looks like a K.
This had to be deliberate; the b and e are both lower case; had the second r been lower case, it wouldn't have the K effect.
Also note the first R's return past the ascender makes it look less K like, so the second one looks deliberately more like a K.
I see what you're saying, but I'm going to disagree for a different reason.
The right-most ascender of the T and second R is actually the T. I say that because the T is actually stylized as a ∏. So where the T ascender would normally be is actually the R's ascender.
I hope to see a Tesla Cybertruck in person soon, it sounds like a high quality EV. If you read the article and get to the part about Musk requiring all parts be built to "sub 10 microns", that's 0.000394" and highly unrealistic.
I work in a high precision machine shop and our tolerances are +/- 0.001"-0.005" depending on application. That's thinner than a sheet of standard printer paper...
Don't look at this article for the hilarious shitting on the #cybertruck build quality. Instead, scroll down and look at how #danielgolson masterfully trolls back #musk / #tesla stans on twitter/x/musksfolly/irrelevantplatform 😂😆🤟
If it does manage to begin delivery this month, it’s going to be riddled with build quality issues and unforeseen (or foreseen, if you’re actually reasonable) problems with its body panels and bizarre design, leading potential buyers to look elsewhere.
Now that you can actually buy decent (and decent-looking) EV trucks from Ford, GM, and Rivian, the Cybertruck’s competitive appeal is gone.
I’m also taking guesses at the pricing. I think the promised $40k base price is pure fiction, and will never see the light of day. Tesla will start deliveries at some top-end trim which I’m going to guess will end up being $85k–$100k.
Medium term, I think the Cybertuck will be a laughingstock, a weird anomaly in automotive history. Maybe in another 20 years, it will become a collectible curiosity.
Was surprised to see an actual #Cybertruck on the road today. I just assumed they were perpetually in concept phase (i.e. figments of Elon’s addled brain that some poor engineers were forced to bring into tortured existence). It looked every bit as ridiculous in person as I had imagined.
#Musk's stupid "#Cybertruck" is going to go down in history as the 21st century's #Edsel. It's a ridiculous #gimmick#vehicle that a lot of people are going to regret buying, although many will be ensnared by the Sunk Cost #fallacy, and continue defending it long after reality has set in.
#mobiliteit
