Give #Ukraine long-range missiles and they'll push the Russians back to their own country.
"Ukrainians have more or less pushed the #BlackSea Fleet out of #Sevastopol, its primary base, away to Novorossiysk on the other side of the Azov in pre-2014 #Russia. Being able to use Sevastopol as a naval base is one of the main military reasons Russia needs #Crimea. Another is to use it as a logistics hub, shipping in munitions and materiel for the land battle to the north."
🇺🇦 Navy has sunk or disabled a third of all 🇷🇺 warships in the #BlackSea. 🇷🇺 is unable to replace them with new warships or submarines in the Black Sea under Art. 19 of the Montreux Convention.

"Today there is something to specially commend the entire staff of the Security Service of Ukraine and our Navy for. I thank you for today's triumph – the destruction of the occupiers' air defense system on the land of our Crimea. It is a very significant achievement, well done!
Glory to all who fight for Ukraine! And thank you to everyone who helps!
Glory to Ukraine!"
According to the authorities of the Russian occupation in Crimea, half a million people are without electricity. That’s almost a quarter of the entire population of that occupied peninsula. The lack of electricity disabled all of the water supplies.
The worst part of the storm hasn’t even arrived yet.

🇺🇦 conducts one of the largest strikes against military targets across occupied #Crimea:
🇷🇺 #BlackSea Fleet communications complex;

"In Dnipro, we visited an apartment building where at least 64 people had died in an earlier #Russian missile strike. Eerily enough, we could still see clothes hanging in a top-floor closet — visible because the entire front wall of the building was gone. Other Russian missiles have struck #hospitals, #schools & shopping malls in the area. These are targets of no military value whose destruction amounts to #crimes against humanity" https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/02/12/ukraine-united-states-aid/
"Ukraine’s unheralded success in the battle for the #BlackSea — employing sea drones and missiles to drive back the #Russian fleet — has reopened that vital shipping route... that region’s 3 ports are back to almost prewar levels of exports. The National Bank of Ukraine has forecast a 3.6% economic growth this year, but those projections will be dashed if #Ukraine can’t safeguard its major population centers from Russian airstrikes." https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/2024/02/12/ukraine-united-states-aid/
