50+ sites are using my Detect Missing Adblocker WordPress plugin, which lets you warn your site's visitors if they don't have an ad-blocker installed.

If, instead of ad blocking per se, we used browser extensions that blocked all tracking, prevented execution of arbitrary code, and made fingerprinting devices impossible, but also left all ad content visible, would Google (and the rest of their industry) still be opposed?

Looks like it might've been the "Enhancer for YouTube" extension that I was also using (for auto-cinema mode, etc.). Disabling that seems to have gotten me back in the game.

Trying out #NoScript to block the loading of #Javascript on websites. I honestly don't know why I should use it, but it is fun to play with. Really speeds up loading times at least.
I use a lot of #adblocker and other #browser technologies, like #noscript in #firefox. As a result, some web sites load a little funky. I was trying to go to the Secretary of the Commonwealth's web site in #Virginia and got this infinite loop. This happens more often than you might think.
Deswegen schon nö, weil bei den meisten Seiten dann ebenfalls nur ein Teil des Artikels zu sehen ist und ich dann wieder genötigt werde, ein Abo abzuschließen. Aber dann wurde ich schon getrackt.
Also werde ich das nicht abschalten und grundsätzlich solche Seiten meiden und mein Geld bekommen die auch nicht. 🤷
