#Ukraine has paused thousands of criminal cases for people who volunteer to join the military.
11,000 accused have had cases paused thanks to a special legal amendment from 2014. The most common crimes related to theft, drug trafficking and car accidents.
This follows other Ukrainian cyberattacks, including one on Russia’s leading party #unitedrussia which supports Putin. Russian-led groups have repeatedly targeted #Ukraine throughout the war.
Repeated attacks over the past few months have led #Ukrainian authorities to enforce rolling blackouts. The Ukrainian energy ministry has reported that there could be shortages of energy supply for industrial usage.
