Protests are taking place in #Amsterdam against the presence of Israeli President Isaac #Herzog at the opening of the National Holocaust Museum. Over 1,500 demonstrators have gathered at Waterlooplein square, including the Jewish organization "Erev Rav". They are protesting Israel's actions in Gaza and find Herzog's attendance inappropriate. #Amnesty International is also demonstrating with signs near the museum.

So when he was offered this project in the Oude Haven area of the city center, he decided to further develop his original ideas. Interestingly, the cubic houses even form a pedestrian bridge over one of the busiest streets in the city center.

It attracts many water birds.
