@enog @kayakpatrick There was zero people on the boardwalk earlier - just me & Mom. Then, just me on way back because my Mom freaked the heck out over loud noise in forest & ran like hell, back to car 🤣 She thought it was a bear. It was a raccoon.

Nice picture of this mountain Pico do Arieiro at Madeira, height 1818 meters.
Pico do Arieiro (1,818 meters) is the fourth highest peak in Madeira.
You can do a very good (but heavy) hike the
PR1 Vereda do Arieiro.

I was there at Thursday May 17th 2024 in the morning.
