New drawing. A cinema I frequently visited as a child. It's pictured here as I remember it, circa December 1977/January 1978. It has long since been demolished.
I wanted to see all of my recent illustrations in one place, but also make a nice index to the blog posts I write up, so I made this page... and added some info in case anyone wants a print or something.
I felt a bit experimental and concept-driven with this #watercolor painting last night, I'm happy with the outcome. I just wish I had access to the rest of my art supplies. Most of them are still in boxes since our move, because we have no space for them yet in our new home. So I'm stuck with the same Daler Rowney paints since last September.
