I'm a Xennial. It is the ‘modern’ label for those of us who were born in the overlapping years of GenX and GenY (GenY is called Millennial today).

Those born between these years are Xennials:

  • 1977–1985 according to Business Insider
  • 1977‒1983 according to The Guardian
  • 1977‒1982 according to Slate

The years of each generations:

  • ???‒??? - The Ancients
  • Anything between “The Ancients” and 1945 have different names, and is usually based on different Western countries.
  • 1946‒1964 - Baby
  • 1965‒1985 -
  • 1977‒1985 -
  • 1981‒1996 - a.k.a. (or in South Korea)
  • 1997‒2012 -
  • 2013‒2025(?) -

There is also what is called . It is a combination of Millennials and GenZ, that is 1981‒2012. “GenMZ” is more commonly used in South Korea than anywhere else.

#DidYouKnow that in 1991, #BobDole personally invited rapper and member of #NWA Eazy-E to a GOP fundraising event that George H.W. Bush was attending.

There's pictures out there somewhere of Eazy-E with Bob Dole.

I think about that a lot.

#DidYouKnow that in Austria, no position in the civil service, or judiciary, or the military, or even the cabinet requires an oath of office?

Instead, you are required to make a legally binding affirmation ("Gelöbnis"), which however does not require the invocation of any supreme being. The law, where it prescribes the wording of the affirmation, only says that "the addition of a religious formula is permitted." So you can add "so help me god" or likewise, but you never have to.

  1. German rap band Fanta 4 published Krieger [1].

  2. Fatboy Slim published Weapon of choice. The video featured Christopher Walken returning to his origins of a musical dancer [2].

Both have one thing in common. Walk without rhythm, so you don't attract the worm. Dune. Shai Hulud!

#FunFact #DidYouKnow most of the salt in natural food stores "does not contain iodide, a necessary supplement" make sure you're getting your #iodine !

#IodizedSalt can be really great! It helps prevent #hypothyroid and #goiter! Especially in people who don't live by the sea or eat #seafood. Iodine is also in #dairy.

But if you have #POTS and you use more #salt than average, make sure you're not getting all your salt from iodized salt.

Too much iodine can also cause #thyroid problems.

The theoretical limit to human survival for more than a few hours in the shade, even with unlimited water, is a wet-bulb temperature of 35°C (95°F) - theoretically equivalent to a heat index of 70°C (160°F), though the heat index does not go that high.
