@drahardja Wow!! Reminds me of the old podcast app that had a reel to reel look. If you tilted your phone, the “light” would reflect off it at the angle you tilted. Was such a tiny detail.

I love how Apple still does little things like that.

So yesterday I was out doing what I can’t talk about right now, and my car started making knocking noises (like a lawn mower), as I was trying to get to a shop, my engine began to limit the power to it. So I limped it to the shop. Glad I made it, just as I got there it shut off.

Engine light was blinking and oil light came on. 😒 It was 2 quarts of oil low somehow, so not sure what is going on.

Onboarding with this bank has been complete hell. NOTHING I do works the first try. Sometimes I get things to work on the second or third try. Meanwhile some things I need simply don’t work. Period. Literally may close this account and go elsewhere simply due to its shitty tech stack.

@ghalldev I gotta save up for one! I had a pre-order this time last year… and then got laid off and had to cancel it.

I’ve fallen off the gaming kick but there’s something about PlayDate that makes me think it’ll be fun to have even if I didn’t use it much.

@syntaxseed It’s crazy to think Amazon looked at UPS, FedEx, and USPS and thought “nah, they’re too slow” when that trio has over 200+ years of combined logistics experience.

As much as I’m not an Amazon fan these days, its shipping and logistics has been miraculous.

If I create a Shared Photo Album in iCloud Photos, do all the pictures in the Shared Photo Album count against my storage? Do they count against other’s storage that I invite to the album?

Surprising Nobody, the Humane AI Pin Sucks

Humane's hardware looks nice. The main concept is appealing. But when you're peddling a $700 metal square with a required subscription that’s basically paying the equivalent of re-buying the pin every 2.4 years, you better nail that core experience. Humane is aiming for the clouds but forgot to tie its shoes before stepping onto the field.

My prediction is they'll be bargain-bin devices, or the company is gone, in a year.
