This indigo bunting (Passerina cyanea) is definitely a pretty bird. I haven't fed the birds today because I'm trying to see if the pigeons will give up and go away.
This digital art was created from my original photograph using digital brushes for a painterly effect. I captured this heron from the Leonabelle boardwalk in Port A, TX. When they spread their wings, whether landing or searching for food, it reminds me of glorious angel wings.

I recently had the chance to take a bunch of photos at the British Birds of Prey Centre in south Wales.
Despite somewhat overcast skies I got some shots I'm pretty happy with, so this'll be an ongoing thread of good birbs, as and when I get to editing them :D
There's something about this shot of Boomerang - about the leap into flight - that reminds me of Monster Hunter design, like this guy's a tiny wyvern 🐉
