#PeterDavid has written so many things that so many people have enjoyed-- books, movies, comics, streaming, and more. You've undoubtedly enjoyed his work without realizing it. He's written things for #StarTrek, #Babylon5, #Oblivion, the #DCU, the #MCU (comics, TV, and movies), and more.
Only in America should a man as sick as he is, and as talented as he is, need to go begging to pay his medical bills, just to live.
Now you can see why the #WGA is striking. Streaming fees and movie ticket sales never trickle down to the people who do the most important job of all: creating the stories and characters you see on screen.

I've watched four seasons of #Babylon5 so far. It feels like the story is pretty much told at this point, so I have to ask: is the last season worth it? Does the story continue in some unexpected ways?
For #Pride Month, I'd like to mention #Babylon5. The show ran from 1993 to 1998, and made a point of not making a point of gay relationships. Susan Ivanova (serving military officer) had a lesbian affair with Talia Winters, and no other character even blinked.
Later on two straight men on a secret mission found themselves using "newlyweds" as a cover story, because two men on their honeymoon would fit right in.
The message was clear: in the future being gay is 100% unremarkable. In the 90s!

Oh man, das ist echt ein Unterschied wie Tag und Nacht, zum analogen Antennenempfang auf dem Röhrenfernseher in den 90ern.
Leider nicht gerade zum Guten, denn die tollen (mit dem #Amiga produzierten) Raumschiffsequenzen und Special effects sehen jetzt völlig klinisch sauber und damit stumpf und billig aus.
