@stvfrnzl I did that exam recently. Don’t know whether I’ve passed yet. There were very few questions about statistics and many more than expected about “Universal Design for Learning”.

It's super common with Notion newbies to make a really complex system, maybe using several different templates, that seems great because it includes literally everything.
Trust me when I tell you, you don't actually need everything!
Start small and simple - it can be as simple as a blank page with a check list on it!
@sharan that's one thing I'm not using as much, probably because I'm not sure about future migration to other applications... 🤔 What's your top use-case for databases?
A couple years back, I wanted to make a list of the works by the #SeizBreur artistic movement (the "Breton art-déco")
I couldn't do this on #WikimediaCommons/#Wikidata of course, as most of the works are still under copyright, so I tried to make it with #Notion and while it works and looks nice, it needs some tedious repeated work, and has a lot of limitations in terms of what I can do with the data.
@Monolecte j'en viens à me demander s'il n'y aurait pas moyen de faire un truc qui convertirait le dockerfile en série d'instructions pour l'installation lisibles par un humain.
Je veux dire, je comprends le besoin des devs de Baserow de fournir un redis et un postgre qui juste marchent, mais j'ai déjà ça sur ma machine, j'ai pas besoin de les faire tourner en double dans Docker.

J’avais ds appli que maintenais à jour en git et paf, ils arrêtent de maintenir pour ne puls passer que sur docker, c’est très chiant et faignant.
En fait le coup de l'IA dans notion ne marche pas : l'IA invente un compte fantaisiste des caractères dans la page, j'ai eu entre 6400 et 12000 et des, pour un texte où je n'avais pas changé UNE VIRGULE entre les updates ! elle ne compte pas elle fait semblant et bullshite oO.
et bien sûr au bout d'une vingtaine d'essais, faut payer 🙄
mais pourquoi je vais payer ce truc qui raconte n'imp exactement ???
I bashed Notion without ever trying it. Now I’ve tried it (for one day).
I can see how it could appeal to people. I’m not sure what came first but there’s some similarities to other apps I have used.
The calendar integration Notion Calendar (Cron) is particularly good.
Skiff got bought up by Notion.
This means that all skiff users need to find a new platform.
Notion does not even offer an email service, so we just lost a big player in the privacy community, very sad that they made this decision. I have considered switching to something like #tuta or #proton.

I am considering services like #tuta or #proton but i'll wait a few days or weeks and see what others come up with and test out a few services.
I will post which service i went with afterwards.

Właśnie zaczynam przenosiny z #Notion na #ObsidianMD. Mam jednak pewne pytanie do osób korzystających z tej drugiej aplikacji. Czy jest możliwość, żeby tworzyć tabele powiązane w Obsidianie? Chodzi o to, że chcę w jakiś prosty sposób monitorować finanse i wyświetlać w jednej tabeli informacje na jeden temat, w drugiej na drugi i potem je zsumować.
I've run into a real problem: content in various projects is swapping places (and sometimes disappearing) as I'm using it. Previous versions don't have it right.

I did not mean to do just what you describe, but I accidentally did thanks to a drop down that listed blocks from a different project than the one I was working in.
I've decided to go with #Notion for organization and notes for the #TribesInTheDark game I'm planning. I went with it over #Obsidian because Notion is less hassle to sync and work with between my tablet and my laptop. I'm still using Obsidian for things where it's fine for it to live only on my laptop. #ttrpg
@glitchontwitch And I just realized I rolled up several issues I have with the tablet that aren't necessarily just Obsidian. So I'll leave it that Notion avoids more than one problem.
Decided to give #Notion another go, though mostly as my online knowledge base (I have a student account). I won't, however, be using it for anything [too] personal or sensitive, due to their security issues.
