Anybody have a minute to sanity check I oriented this connector pinout right?

The datasheet drawing appears to be from the underside although it doesn't explicitly say it which I don't like...

uhm, wtf is Windows doing here.
I wanted to find out why creating a new folder is absurdly slow on my machine.
Why are there over 5 million queries to the registry in a matter of 90 seconds.

Most of them seem to be from the fucking Compatability Telemetry Service. Killing that makes folder creation a lot faster :|

Everything is so much better.
I can only imagine some cursed ancient tool that I have somewhere has caused some insane bs.
So far nothing feels broken, in theory old shit is now unable to run.

Microsoft really needs to clean up their management teams for Windows.
It would really not be that hard for Windows to be a good, trustable OS.

That they fuck up this hard is really just a cycle of absurd incompetence that seems to wave over every other Windows release.

Somehow competent product managers make it in after every fucked up release and then after a while things repeat.

back from and a hacking project was already waiting for me at the door
One is supposedly working fully and 3 are broken in some ways.

They are old Cisco conference room cameras with really good optics and a gimbal. They do 1080p60hz HDMI out and have 12x optical zoom.

The paint they used is that nasty stuff that gets sticky over time, 2 of 4 of my cameras have very nasty sticky cases. Either I sand them down or design and print a new "tube".

@Tig3rch3n @niklas Did you fully remove the paint with solvents? Otherwise you may just have had different gunk on it?
Cause this is def. all the paint, thats not gonna go away until its gone.

There is no native mounting point under the case for something like that. If I want a lens hood I'd slide it over the main case I think.

Ok did not expect such a hefty PCB.
Huge Altera Cyclone III EP3C120F780C8N on the image output side and a signal processor from TI "TMS320DM642"

Mind boggling that these cameras get dumped for ~40$ now. The three broken ones I got for 35GPB total and they seem perfectly functional except one that doesn't have an image output (which is why we get PCB pictures now)

The mass exodus from #Windows to #Linux (and #Mac) due to #Windows11 and #AI continues. More and more articles, more and more youtube videos about it, or posts on forums. People are switching. If it continues like that, Linux should have 10% desktop marketshare by the end of the decade (and yes, that's a lot).
