@StillIRise1963 I’ve never understood that! It is so illogical. If rich people get more money, they’ll just blow it on bigger cars, houses, jewelry, and longer vacations. Or put in offshore accounts. Not much trickle down in that.

With the latest action, the admin says it has canceled $167 billion in student debt for nearly 5 million Americans.

Jeg er til det årlige Grammatiknetværksmøde. Ken Ramshøj Christensen holder i vanlig overbevisende stil et oplæg der handler om sætningstypen “De sko er jeg helt vilde med” (hvor de tyder på at folk lader tillægsordets bøjning følge genstandsleddet frem for grundleddet, sm.lign. m. “De sko er jeg helt vild med”).
I et eksperiment lod Ken og kolleger deltagere udfylde en tom plads i en sætning med tillægsord for at se hvad der påvirker denne variation. Til alles overraskelse lavede deltagerne …

Jeg har for første gang forsøgt at købe noget tøj via Trendsales (fordi klimaet) og er allerede blevet snydt! På en skjorte der stod opført som “Aldrig brugt” var der to pletter, og en cardigan var helt fnulret. Jeg har skrevet til sælger at jeg ønsker at returnere varerne og få pengene retur, og hun påstår nu at der ikke var nogen pletter på da hun pakkede skjorten. Som om! Rent fup!

I dag fylder yngstesøn 19. Det har jeg - som det sker oftere og oftere nu - taget underbevidst forskud på, sådan at jeg har kaldt ham “den 19-årige” i månedsvis. Forleden kom jeg endda til at sige til ham at mandag ville være hans sidste dag som teenager 🤦‍♀️

Anyways, det er ham I kan takke for solskinsvejret - han er nemlig helt utrolig sød og kærlig, også selv om han har haft nogle virkelig hårde år med depression og social angst. Men det går bedre nu! Og vi nyder det så meget 🥰
