Pixels don't run stock Android.

The strapline of my Nothing OS 2.0 review mentions "stock Android", but to this day there's still no universal agreement on what "stock Android" actually is.

Here's the definition I'm using: Stock Android = AOSP + (core) GMS.

@MishaalRahman I've always treated "stock Android" as AOSP-only, LineageOS as "AOSP-like" or "stock-like" and so on.

GApps (GMS and others) are just not needed for the core system to work, so whenever I see someone promoting a custom system image as "custom ROM w/ stock feel" I get a little annoyed that they include GApps by default, just give me a microG compatible image and let me decide what I want to use, if Google-dev'd apps or not.

@TechDesk no one likes the rebranding because of familiarity with the bird. Plus, a narcissistic owner and a will to destroy every feature of it goes against his wishes are just detrimental to any kind of company. Knowing how the guy treated the app, I'm surprised Tesla and SpaceX aren't just gone.

It doesn't bother me one bit that my wife and I seem to be the only people masked in the airport. I mean, I wish people were being more careful, but I have no problem being the "odd one." Masks aren't a guarantee, but I'd like to be the one feeling healthy and not putting others at risk on the plane, at my destination, and at home. #WearaMask
