If you live in Western Australia please look away for a moment. Forecast rainfall (50% of more than) for tomorrow expecting over 100mm for much of the South Coast from Batemans Bay down to the Victorian border and inland to Bemboka.

#Canberra can expect up to 60mm but at the very least double what we got today.

Somehow on the drive home from the dog park Ms7 and I managed to cover the history of armed conflict in the world over the past 400 years, the evolution of battlefield tactics, reasons why nations go to war, asymmetric warfare, the wars Australia has fought in including the pre-Federation wars (we went to war against New Zealand apparently?), the Frontier Wars / genocide, conscription, and why it's never straightforward "good guys" vs "bad guys" and how Australia isn't always the good guys and some of the wars we've been involved in and war crimes committed by Australian forces. Phew!

@luciedigitalni I mean, British wars but involving Australian colonies fighting in New Zealand. I guess it makes sense for the British to draw forces from Australia.

Getting pretty spicy for Canberra, got thunderstorms moving in from the west and north! This could actually be quite ... interesting. No detailed severe storm warning issued yet.

I've been thinking about Land Cruisers lately (not that I can hope to afford one in the next decade) and I just looked up the rego for one I drove past to see what it was, and the number plate was registered to a Toyota Corolla ... sooooo I'ma just let the cops know incase it's a stolen vehicle.

Ah all good it was a NSW rego not ACT. Since when did NSW numberplates start with Y I thought that was reserved for the ACT.

So, I have double my antidepressants two week ago ... And yea my GP said it was ok ... I feel that I have failed myself ... My GP said to me when I mentioned that "it's understandable, and there seems to be a pattern that around this time of year you need to. We are going to work on this in the new year" ... The strange thing I knew it is the right things to do, and I also feel I have failed myself ... So strange ... But so am I ... Giggles

@melissabeartrix I learned something interesting about antidepressants from my psychiatrist the other week that dose doesn't have a linear correlation to effectiveness, that it's more like steps where increasing the dose can actually shift into a different ... hang on, I'll go find an article πŸ˜„

So we've gone from a country of "I wonder if any of my neighbours are racist" to "Most people on my street are racist." I feel like this whole thing has backfired and now racists will feel emboldened, knowing they have the support of 8 million Australians to continue depriving, oppressing, ignoring, and steamrolling the indigenous population. #TheVoice

Getting real sick of important medical information vaporising. Why don't they have any records of the echocardiogram they did two months ago? Why doesn't my GP have my ECG I got at the hospital last month? Who does have the report?
