    Nothing like waking up in the best mood you've ever been in in the past--oh I dunno, 6 weeks?--and making yourself the biggest breakfast of very buttery scrambled eggs and toast, and then actively considering cleaning up the garden you've neglected for the last two months. It's upswing season again!

    Spaghetti all'assassina, 1.0. Because the pasta is not pre-boiled but instead tossed directly into the hot pan with garlic and chili flakes in olive oil, the texture is thicker because of the unwashed-away starch, even though it is eventually boiled into pomodoro sauce. Interesting.

    That said, needs more spice. And salt.
