To me it was... ok? I didn't think this was particularly good or redefining the show, but it was kind of solid, albeit on the more silly side of DW.

Saw the sun today! When the sun comes out, the sun worshippers come out too!

The silhouettes of a bunch of people clustered on the terraced back decks of a large ship, all watching the sunset and taking pictures of it and each other. The sun is just about to set and the stripe of cloud overhead is bright orange.
The same sunset a little later and thus a lot darker. The cloud cover now reaches from the top left of the image to the horizon of the right side and is now dark grey with a bit of red along the edge. People get so cranky at Black folk for pointing out the irrefutable evidence that Biden's Covid policies got a lot of people long Covid, and caused a lot of other people to die of Covid unnecessarily.

You can get mad at me. You can yell "Trump is worse!" until your voice gets hoarse. I'm not talking about Trump. I'm talking about pandemic decisions made during this administration.

#DunePartTwo second viewing and dang, THIS IS FCKING CINEMA! I love so much what Villeneuve has done with Chani, it's such a great development of her character. And damn how does Chamalet sell this turn from Paul to the Holy Warrior. I'm blown away by the scope and scale of this film, its sights and sounds. That's what cinema was made for.

Man, we Europeans are so funny! There's the European Council, which is an EU body BUT NOT the same as the Council of the European Union, which also an EU body. And then there's the Council of Europe, which is also great BUT NOT an EU body. Got it? @Onceoday Oh I love the Netflix adaptation, it is very well done, love the characters and how the novel storylines map onto them. It's just that Shogun is such a big surprise for me in how utterly fantastic it is. It is such an old school sweeping epic, with so much attention to details, just blows me away.

@David I certainly feel more easily distracted and prone to lose a line of thought since my Covid infections. The first one was probably the culprit, without any prior vaccination (in late 2020). It hit me with brain fog and temporary short term memory loss. All of that recovered quickly but still, at times I can feel my brain not working as quickly as it used to. And I'm not even talking about infrequent blood clotting in my hands, probably a sign of arthritis or something that I hadn't before.

This is my favorite allrounder #Cyberpunk2077 built that can (a) get you passed every Tech and Int check, (b) is both a Katana warrior, as well as (c) a pistol and (Tech) rifle sharpshooter, (d) can go quiet as fck or loud as fck. It needs some additional cyberware to push up health and melee damage, but then it's unbeatable. Bonus: with 20 Int and Tech you get a lot of the deeper lore stuff in Cyberpunk. What's your fav built? #VideoGames

@AbsolutelyDerek I did Gorilla arms in my first go but then decided against them in my consecutive playthroughs. Just don't want to cut off my arms 😅 The boxing subquest is still doable, it mainly comes down to your own health and how fast you can smash dat button!
