I'll share my enthusiasm for the #demoscene - the wonderful hobby where art and tech meet, supported by an amazing community.

I'll include a little bit about what it is, but mostly hands on, making some pretty stuff animate on screen with the retro-styled #TIC80. Participants will leave armed with the skills to keep building and desire to do so!

I've got a box of old bits that are very outdated or unused but might have some salvage/toy value for hackers or makers at @emf.
e.g.

• Old modems (like 56k upwards).
• Disposable camera shells (with flashes).
• Paper notebooks.
• Craft stuff.
  Is there anywhere to list it to see if anyone wants, or somewhere to drop at EMF for folks to lucky dip scavenge?

I keep remembering it, searching, and not finding it. I think it's disappeared from the searchable internet.

I haven't got a CV. I haven't had one for a decade or more. I'm trying to pull one together swiftly for an application and... huh... I forgot about some of the cool stuff I've been involved with.
