Happy Fursday friends. It’s a pleasant 65F (18C) 🌞 and looking like a comfortable June day here in the woodlands of MO.
#Today after my workout I’m beginning my house painting in the cathouse. All of the catwalks, ladders and rails will be refreshed with a purple coat of paint. The walls were scrubbed and look pretty decent so it’s not too hefty of an endeavor. The tricky part is confining the 3 kitties in the back room during this process. Dommie is such a bully, he might need to be crated.

Yesterday after work I drove to East #finland with a rental car. (That was the first time I drove this year.) There was a car accident on the road, and a traffic jam. We got heavy rain.. I got lost once. Once the navigator said the road was blocked but it wasn't. But I did it and #today I saw my #parents. 😍 #AlzheimersSucks I haven't told you but my mother has #dementia now as well. #suomimastodon #roadtrip

I rented a car with an automatic transmission. It's a hybrid.
I noticed my father's soft toys were kissing
I made "poor knights" for my mother.. A sweet bun is soaked in milk and fried on a pan with butter. If it's eaten with a jam, the knight is poor. If you also have whipped cream, it's rich. Lol

If the storms aren’t severe my husband and I are going out to dinner to celebrate our 31 yr anniversary of our first date. It’s actually June 5 but he has an appointment near the city today. We’ve always celebrated the 1st date anniversary since we lived in sin for 13yrs before marrying. 😜

Today is my 21st wedding anniversary. On our first wedding anniversary, we were pretty broke, so hubs made me homemade coupons for massages, but he spelled it wrong, so I got a handful of printed out coupons for 1 Hour of Messages. So, every year since I get something like this:

Happy Friday friends!
I spent the morning outside with a cup of tea enjoying the lovely 60°F (15°C) 🌞 weather. Dude missed his lap time 😾so I’ll have to make it up to him after my workout.
This morning we said goodbye to friends visiting from afar, it’s sad they live such a long distance away. We’ll miss their funny stories, lively spirits & just communicating alongside good people with similar mindsets.❤️
No plans so far #today, but that may change.
The weekend is in sight! 🙌🏼

Today, ta-da! Everyone was looking forward to this day for my son Drew- so important he have a success going into the pool for the first time this year. He surprised us all and did more physical activity at one time than ever, since October 7 when he was hospitalized with serious seizures. That day he became unable to use his walker anymore. He’s been weak and weaker. He barely can help himself lift up to stand and can’t hold his weight standing. Yet, look at him go in the water today!
