The Free Life Party of (Iran-held part of) Kurdistan political party (PJAK, togetehr with its sibling organizations KJAR (women's "Free Women's Union of East Kurdistan") and KODAR (civil society "East Kurdistan Democratic and Free Society"), the three of which which were the ones to introduce the now world-beloved slogan "Women! Life! Freedom!" there and spread it to all Iran) together with similar political parties have now called for a new general trike for the anniversary of the murder of Jîna/Mahsa Amini by the immoral "morality police" of the Iran-regime in Tehran.
https://www.hawarnews.com/en/haber/call-for-general-strike-on-occasion-of-first-anniversary-of-jin-jiyan-azad-uprising-h37890.html

It was also PJAK, KJAR and KODAR that issued the initial call for general strike as immediate response to the murder soon a year ago, general strikes that spread beyond the Iran-held part of Kurdistan and was central to the antiauthoritarian feminist protests and uprisings all over the areas held by the brutally sexist reactionary Iran-regime.

500 days ago yesterday Supreme Court ruled State of Norway violate human rights through construction of 150 wind turbines at Fosen, Trøndelag, SW Sápmi/MW Norway.
State don't give a fuck that it violates the law, because it's rights of indigenous Sámi, so yesterday some Sámi started occupying lobby of Ministry of Petroleum and Energy.
"The wind turbines at Fosen shall be demolished and the land returned to Fosen-Sámi. They've been fighting against the wind industry and State ~10 years. We are here in solidarity with those […] who are exhausted after all of the State violations", said Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen to NRK.

Norway's Minister came down and spewed same nonsense as always, that they're investigating and don't have a decision yet but "we must ensure indigenous rights are safeguarded", which is what they actively piss on.

"Those are just empty words. We are used to hearing that we have to deal with them having to make a new decision. But they don't deal with that there are real people who live with this violation every day, and we who sit here feel in our bodies that we cannot tolerate the ongoing human rights violation." responded Ella Marie Hætta Isaksen.

Today Elle Rávdná Näkkäläjrvi says "The Ministry locked its front door so nobody can come in. They're trying to starve us out".

Police nabbed a graffiti artist attempting to flee the scene of committing this (picture) adorable art in the harbor of Visby, Gotland, the large island just outside southeastern mainland Sweden.
The 27-year-old was prosecuted for vandalism, with the prosecutor demanding a fine.

Police's interrogation records said e.g. that "His intention is to offer free art to passersby." and... the District Court of Gotland... agreed.

The court's ruling states that no harm has been proven and that the artist "on a gray and cracked concrete façade which is the short end of a loading dock, has depicted a lamb.", that "The way in which X has illustrated the lamb testifies to an artistic work carried out with a certain amount of artistic and technical skill." then finally "According to the District Court's opinion, the beauty value of the cracked concrete façade - in purely objective terms - has increased through X's painting." so the 27-year old artist was acquitted by the court, which also ruled that the police had must return the spray cans they had confiscated.

Damn hippies. ;-D

State of emergency declared on Iceland over possible major volcanic eruption, after >800 quakes just during latest 24 hours.
"We're probably looking at days rather than hours, if there's going to be an eruption", according to Icelandic Meteorological Office.

The "Blue Lagoon" tourist attraction has been closed.
"If a powerful eruption occurs under the Blue Lagoon, it would take only a few seconds to 2-3 minutes for the magma to boil all the water in the lagoon. If people are in the lagoon, there is no time for escape. It would be the greatest tragedy in Iceland in recent times and even worse than in New Zealand", according to environmental engineer Sveinn Gauti Einarsson.

Here's https://www.ruv.is/english/2023-11-10-civil-defence-level-of-danger-declared-live-396249 some live reporting in English by Iceland's Public Service broadcaster RÚV.

Whilst Europe is setting records in fossil-fueled climate disaster evacuations and heat levels,
Greta Thunberg was sentenced today to a fine of 1500 crowns plus being ordered to pay 1000 crowns to the "Fund for Victims of Crime" for "disobeying police order" (literal direct translation, "not-hearing-ness against the order-power" :-D) while on June 19 alongside other habitat heroes blockading the fossil-fuels harbor in Malmö, southernmost Sweden.

Greta agreed to having blockaded and stated that it should not be considered a crime, referencing the law for defense of self or others, telling the court that "I believe that we are in an emergency situation within the definition of the law. There is a crisis that threatens lives, health and property. Our life-sustaining systems are collapsing", which is all very obvious but the courts can not accept such facts.
The one non-amateur of the judges in the District Court declared that "The circumstances regarding the climate crisis are not included in the Penal Code's 'emergency'".
That judge asked if Greta had any questions, Greta replied "Many questions. But none suitable here".

The border guards of Finland are telling asylum seekers they are not allowed to apply for asylum in Finland at the border to Russia, according to one who had fled the war in Syria and was interviewed by the news agency STT, saying that they were told they can go apply for asylum at Norway's border to Russia instead.

See blue circle on map for where that is.
See red line for where the arctic officially begins.
Also know that it has already been colder than -32°C this winter in some of those areas.
Then know that these people seek refuge from war and persecution on foot or on bicycles.

Yes, of course the border guards actions violate international law. If a person applies for asylum, then they have the right to due process, but now that the right/far-right rule, that doesn't matter as long as the people die and suffer.

Every time public or corporate officials go to the press to cry about how they are under "cyber attack" with "a million attacks just during the previous year" or some similarly huge sounding claim without specifying what they consider as an individual "attack", what I hear is them saying is "I am incompetent within this field".

During just the arbitrary latest ~3 days, just one of the several firewall functions of my home router blocked 5229 unsolicited externally initiated connection attempts by machines extremely probably just randomized scanning the whole Internet for any machine with a vulnerability the scanning software knows, probably intending to if they find an opening move on to automated intrusion to infect with making the infected machine scan others as well as participating in actual attacks and/or covert crypto-currency mining.

Normal since like the year 2001 and is extremely probably hitting you and everyone else too at similar rates, as I hadn't been doing anything particularly noteworthy online prior to those probably randomized scans.

Just make sure you have reasonable protection, preferably both some external hardware firewall (e.g. integrated in your home router), a software firewall on each machine and keep all software reasonably up to date, then don't worry about it.

Yevgeny Prigozhin, owner of the Nazi mercenary "Wagner" gang and commander Dmitry Utkin both confirmed killed in a aeroplane incident 30 minutes from Moscow going to St. Petersburg.
Initially reported as the plane having been shot down by air-defense, but later treated as "mysterious".

Anyone that supports far-right authoritarian reactionary Netanyahu's corrupt rule or similar thereto thereby also supports far-right authoritarian Hamas' corrupt rule and vice versa, as they both legitimize their acts by each other's existence and through both acts and statements strengthen each other's false posing as the only counterpart in their self-perpetuating war.
Whenever any external State or bloc thereof retaliates against the entirety of either populace for the actions committed by the ruler of that populace, that anyone thus strengthens and falsely legitimizes the rule of the one they claim to act against.
Whenever either senses a potential loss of stranglehold over the ruled populace there's a resurgence of conflict, which strengthens grip of both.
This was and remains the inevitable outcome of apartheid ethnicity-separation set up as the impossible "Two State [non-]Solution" of the Oslo Accords which creates a state of constant separation and with it reinforced fear and resultant animosity, instead of an equal one-State situation, as Chomsky put it for a real long-term no-State solution.
They both need each other; the peoples don't need them.
The Palestinians must be free, for any hope of "Peace in the Middle East". Resistance is required, while counterproductive such ain't it.

After "Protester burns Koran at Stockholm mosque on Eid holiday" (https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/swedish-police-approve-small-anti-koran-demonstration-mosque-2023-06-28/) imposed by police after they issued a permit because court ruled counter to the the law that they must aid in the criminal of "gross aggitation against a population group" (a.k.a. "hate-speech") and that the Police Act specifically stating police can deny permits for such occasions, which was supported by a State Security recommendation, that was all ruled as ¯_(ツ)_/¯ by the court. The only explanation for which must be personal opinions. Gross professional misconduct.

Anyone blaming "the Jews" (implying the entire ethnicity) for the acts of the Netanyahu-regime and the armed forces of Israel is doing the same as anyone blaming "the Palestinians" (implying the entire ethnicity subgroup) for the acts of Hamas and the al-Qassam Brigades.

Assigning blame for acts of one group of people onto another group of people where the two are of entirely different categories.
The only mechanism for such an assignment would be through declaring a behavior and therefore the opinion that behavior is based on to be an ethnicity-inherent trait, declaring an entire ethnicity to be born predetermined to without exception hold an opinion.
Or, as it's commonly called: racism,
a form of idiocy where the person just decides similarly to "well, I saw a car hit a pedestrian once, so that means everything that is a noun is to blame". They are two different types of categories. One can not assign blame from the one to the other.
Someone might become scared of one based on the other, but that is an irrational fear, a phobia, which is upon the scared person to overcome and to ask for help doing so if need be.

It is never, ever acceptable to punish innocent for you failing to overcome your irrational fear fantasies.
