Jag är djupt bekymrad över att wokerörelsen har stöd av en femtedel av befolkningen i Sverige och ett avgörande inflytande över regeringens politik. Efter EU-valet kan wokisterna bli den starkaste kraften i EU-parlamentet. Ett antal länder har nu woke stats- eller regeringschefer.

I det läget kan jag bli lite frågande när liberaler oroar sig över högerpopulister på universiteten.

This reader has decided to stay on #Goodreads for now, but this does suggest that it is becoming yet another example of why we cannot have nice things on the web.

In fairness, I have not seen much of the things described myself. It probably depends on what kind of books you read. I do not really read new YA fiction, for example. (I sometimes buy it as presents, though.)

So I was writing a story the other day and realised that my go-to trick for getting out of any plot hole that I've dug myself into is “throw in some Cthulhu”. Struggling with a time travel story? Bring in Cthulhu. Thriller plot gone awry? Throw in some Cthulhu.

I may have to write this up as a self-help guide for writers.
