When this was posted years ago it was posted without music and you could just hear the guys having fun. Don’t know why people think they need to add music.
I see there are several different ways to install OSRS on Linux - flatpaks, Android emulators, Steam, etc. - but can anyone recommend the best as far as ease of setup? With lack of glitches being the second priority?...
Kindajust tagging onto this post, but does anyone know how to use the HD plugin that was made for OSRS awhile back? I stopped following it, and don’t remember if it had Linux support. Would love to know!
What was wrong with the 1st port? I ended up playing after finishing the TV series, and didn’t run into any bugs. I think I can recall having to restart maybe once cause a scene didn’t start. Beyond that, it was one of the first games I almost played twice just for NG+
I am also terrified of spiders. It helps to pretend that there are no spiders where your hands are, and thats just insulation and dust… not spider webs… yep yep yep!
We’ve got one cat 6months and the other 3months old, currently both using the litterbox. However we’re going to move to a new house soon, and eventually try to transition them to getting used to doing their business outdoors instead of the litterbox. Does anyone have any tips or best practices for this transition?...
So you would rather they cull the cats i take it? The cats have been around since 1000AD per the Wiki article. Sounds to me like at this point they are a native species.
Id understand if you were advocating for laws similar to how wolves/deer are treated. Yes keeping populations in check is important… Though it sounds like you would rather kill all the now “Native” cats.
An what if the native cats are the same as the house cats? Are you still saying its better to just not have a cat at all? Even if your own cat is spayed and neutered, its better to keep it trapped inside a house all day?
Humans fucked up, over a few thousand years ago. I don’t understand why you think cats shout suffer today, for a mistake we made 1000s of years ago.
Also id like to point out that I agree with you. When it comes to America, or other countries where we can still correct our mistake. Picking on a country where its the societal norm doesn’t seem like the right place to start.
They’re also likely not being fairly compensated for the wear and tear on their vehicle. Yes it should be something the worker factors in themselves, but thats not always an easy choice/option.
Won’t trump also continue the genocide? So aren’t the options Genocide A, or Genocide B? But Genocide A is also a convicted felon… So. Yeah, easy choice.
Or maybe, start campaigning for you choice about 4 years ago. Get us all on the same page, 4 years ago. Or, crazy idea, go with the guy who won’t quite literally end democracy on day one.
One of the two candidates said “I’ll be a dictator for a day, just one day”. My vote is for the guy who doesn’t want to openly be a dictator (and also isn’t a convicted felon)
Sounds more like its just not financially smart to add compatibility for the Steam Deck. Remaking the game for a console version is fine, since they attract a massive amount of sales to pay for said upgrade. They won’t make nearly as much money by just helping out us small 4%'s.
As far as I’m aware, no other developer has had to entirely redesign their game just to add controller support.
They are not the only company to try, they are however the only company simply allowed to do it. Go ahead, try to start your own database, host peoples videos, see how quickly you’re either forced to sell, or litigated out of a business.
Please do continue to tell us how YouTube being a monopoly is purely a choice, and not by design.
Windows 10 EoL is fast approaching, so I thought I’d give Linux a try on some equipment that won’t be able to upgrade to Windows 11. I wanted to see if I will be able to recommend an option to anyone that asks me what they should do with their old PC....
Like the other dude said, your niece likely only wants to browse Instagram or tiktok… which a fresh install of mint or Ubuntu would work perfectly for.
Your average user isn’t going to go download a seperate browser, they’re just going to use the one pre-installed which… surprise surprise, means everything would work out of the box for a truly ignorant user who can’t help themselves.
A PC-Illiterate person does zero tinkering. They turn on their pc and it works. If distributors shipped computers with Linux, like they did with Windows, it would probably be a better solution for 90% of people who only want to browse the internet, and could care less about all the fancy bloat that windows adds.
Probably because we still require quite a few more years of long term effects. We all just kinda hope it isn’t worse. In the mean time, it could make it easier to quit, though the abundance of different “flavors” has made it much harder for me to quit. Cigarettes taste bad which made it easier when I was younger to quit.
Thank you! I still rematch the reboots from time to time, I loved this series. It makes me extremely excited to see this newest one. Like where’s the reboot where a modern day citizen jumps through a wormhole and accidentally lands on a “planet of apes”?!?
Yep! Just make sure you get it in the correct formfactor, a 2230 NVME. And id also do a bit of research just because all of it is expensive equipment. Theoretically its just as easy as with a pc, just a bit smaller.
China afaik is currently doing exactly that, as well as a few companies in the United States. Its not something just as easy as “experimenting yourself” (although, that is a very simplified way to look at it.) This is decades of research, with billions of dollars. Countries like China can socialize some of these aspects, and seems to be doing very well. It still takes time and money, and research. All the while, the current leading companies are still also furthering their own research.
