When reading about the aroma and flavor of beer, specific compounds or processes are named that are responsible for hop aroma, fermentation by-products and all kinds of aging effects. For off-flavors idem. For the typical malt derived flavor, though, this is rarely seen. Why?

I was doing on a bit of back and forth on a supplier security questionnaire this week.

Got called out for not performing phishing simulations (we do other types of training, and I don’t like setting my security team up as an adversary looking to catch people trying to do their jobs out).

I replied by pointing out that the system used for tracking the vendor security questionnaire did not use DKIM or DMARC.

    Annual suggestion/reminder for anybody gifting a gaming console to a kid (or anyone who does not wait well):

    Before you wrap it, or at least 24 hours before they'll be opening it, carefully unbox it, plug it in, connect it to your wifi, and get it to download all its updates. If you got games for it, go ahead and install those and let them update too.

    That way, the kid can play a game right away instead of waiting through hours of updates before it will let them play.

    In all the excitement of hitting my goal, I completely forgot to share it! 100lbs lost 🥳

    When I hit -50 I ran a 5k to celebrate. Now that I’m at -100 I planned on running a 10k to celebrate but… I live in and the Amway River Bank Run 25k is a huge event in the spring. And I’ve got all winter to either train or talk myself out of it 😂

    @dharrison @annaleen this. I have what I thought was a unique gmail account and have received sensitive information about other people. This lead me to find some companies can’t remove email addresses unless you are a verified customer.
