@jamil I read that. The idea is brilliant to make car drivers pay attention. I doubt a real brick would break the front window but it would leave a better dent on the front hood than my hand. Hypothetically speaking of course.

I talk to people from the UK pretty regularly, I watch a lot of BBC programming, I read a lot of books by authors from the UK, but sometimes they will suddenly use a word I've never heard in my life, and I'm beginning to think they are pranking us, and every other person from the UK is in on the joke, and just validates whatever the other person says!

This means that I won't attend, speak at, or promote conferences that do not have a robust #PublicHealthPolicy .

It's a hard line for me. Because if you cannot enforce public health measures, I have absolutely no faith that you will enforce your Codes of Conduct, to protect folks from harassment.

If you consider yourself an inclusive conference with a diverse community and you don't have a public health policy. You aren't as inclusive as you think you are.

My primary #3Dprinter died in the middle of a big multi-print session. Had it all apart yesterday to see the remedial work I did on the hot end last year isn't cutting it anymore.

Part I need is a new PTFE heatsink throat liner, but it's an OD of about 3.5 - 3.8mm (depending on which calipers I believe) which doesn't seem to be sold anywhere. 3mm is prob too small and 4mm (of which I have plenty) is too big.

Ordered some 3mm overnight anyway. Will try it today.

@ottaross I bought some nozzles, filament dryer and some replacement Bowden tube some months back. They are pretty close to me (There is also Nita beer, purple cow and the buyapi shop on Colonnade. ;)
