I often have to kind of laugh at the fact that I am living proof you can’t indoctrinate gender or sexuality. I was raised in an extremely religious environment. Went to church every Sunday. Bible study every Wednesday. Went to Christian schools from 1st-10th grade. Vacation Bible school. My adopted father was in Promise Keeper’s. Consumed Focus on The Family content. I wasn’t allowed to listen to secular music. Deep in purity culture. All of it.
I wonder if the long-term plan for this Windows Recall is just to generate vast amounts of human created data to train AI off of.
Microsoft would have a constant stream of fresh, up-to-the-minute data in insanely vast quantities. Not only that, but it would be exclusive data, giving them an edge in the AI race.

@bascule@matthew_d_green The fact that you can't sign up to Telegram with the FOSS build of the app tells me everything I need to know. I also don't like privacy focused platforms that link accounts to a phone number.
Like it's taken me years to get good at frontend dev, backend dev, project management, marketing, user support and also realizing how I can use my growing following to benefit other people and projects
And now it's all coming together and I couldn't be happier 😁
