So @danirabbit posted wallpapers, one of them was of foot prints going into the dunes (at the beach)

Having grown up close to the beach, and spent many summer days there, I could almost feel the wind and sand and taste and smell the air. And like a song can get stuck in your head, its almost like this impression is right now. I REALLY want to go to the west coast right now... Maybe I will get the blue Cold Hawaii beer, that one sort of tastes like west coast

@mattdm I saw someone point out once that this sticks out less when youโ€™re around people who are drinking so they wonโ€™t bug you. I have a number of sober friends these days and for some of them even NA beer is too much of a temptation so having NA options that help them blend in is something they appreciate

It used to be that I posted a selfie and nobody gave a shit. Iโ€™d maybe get a couple likes. Now Iโ€™m used to get a certain amount of likes and comments and itโ€™s kind of a problem, because if I post something and it doesnโ€™t โ€œperformโ€ then I start thinking like โ€œDid I look fat? Is it because my boobs are small? I shouldnโ€™t post photos without makeupโ€. Itโ€™s dangerous. I canโ€™t expect every photo to do numbers. Iโ€™m a person not a brand.

@Willow yeah I always have to remember, brain is optimized for protection not happiness. These are thoughts designed to keep me safe, to avoid pain from rejection or criticism. Brain is doing its best, but we donโ€™t need to always be so vigilant

    @KekunPlazas haha I usually try to break up tasks into smaller steps that are less overwhelming. โ€œTake care of the giant pileโ€ is too big of a task. But โ€œsort the shredding out of the pileโ€ is manageable. โ€œShred the new pileโ€ I can do. Iโ€™m just doing 1 5 minute task at a time until the hour long project is suddenly done

    Anyone got any better wording? This is the dialog I was going to add to gnome-firmware, asking users with updatable (but not supported) devices to upload the device list to the #LVFS so we can nag the vendor. The expander is default closed, but opens up to show the full JSON.

    @hughsie Dialog button labels be explicit actions like โ€œUploadโ€. Labels like โ€œOKโ€ and โ€œYes/Noโ€ do poorly in user testing. Looks great otherwise!

    Haha okay so we found out today that running Inochi Viewer and playing a video game and streaming all at the same time is a bit too much for this computer. Iโ€™ve been doing all this on a mini pc. Like basically an Intel Nuc ๐Ÿ˜‚ So I think I need to basically dedicate one computer to streaming and inochi and then another computer for the game and do HDMI capture

    Last night I stayed up pretty late drawing and cutting new eyes. During my lunch break today I meshed and rigged them. Iโ€™m pretty freaking happy with that. I watched so many videos haha
