Testimony in a #Michigan court Fri, revealed both #state & #federal investigators continue to probe certificates that falsely claimed #Trump won the #2020election, 5 months before the next election.
On day 4 of prelim examinations for 6 #Republicans who signed the false certificate in MI, MSP Capt Darren Green, said he was interviewed Thurs by the #FBI & 2 US prosecutors from DC.
Capt Green was at the #Michigan Capitol when a group of #FakeElectors attempted to enter the building on Dec 14, 2020, to present their document to the MI Senate. Green said the interview Thurs focused on the electors.
Just before Green's remarks, Howard Shock, an agent of MI AG #DanaNessel's office, testified that he had outstanding #subpoenas or search #warrants for info as part of an ongoing state investigation into the false electors certificate.
#FarhanHaq, a #UN spokesperson, said the new smaller numbers reflected those bodies which had been fully identified. The bigger figures included corpses for whom identification has so far not been completed.
The #warrants against the Israeli politicians mark the first time the #ICC has targeted the top leader of a close ally of the #UnitedStates. The decision puts #Netanyahu in the company of the Russian President Vladimir #Putin, for whom the ICC issued an arrest warrant over Moscow’s war on #Ukraine. #Israel#Gaza
'Kansas City police arrested at least four people on invalid warrants in 2021 following its transition from one tracking software program to another, The Missouri Independent has learned. ... The department had been warned of possible technical issues that could lead to false arrests, according to a court official who said those risks were “ignored.”'
Just as I suspected. The #Utah#MAGAt had a .357 Magnum in his hands and pointed it at the #FBI agents who were trying to execute #arrest and #search#warrants on him. You don't point a #gun at #lawEnforcement unless you're prepared to die. We've got to wait for the final report, but this increasingly looks like a justified #shooting.
ProPublica Partner Sues Mississippi County for Blocking Access to Search Warrants
The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal has sued Mississippi’s Union County, asking a judge to order that search warrants in its county-level justice court be made open for public inspection.
A joint investigation found many #Mississippi courts thwart public scrutiny of search #warrants. Experts say that violates long-standing norms of public access & the state’s public records law.
A common technology plot hole in movies and TV shows...
Watching a TV show tonight. They were trying to trace a phone call to locate the criminal, and oh, what rotten luck - the villain hung up right before they could complete the trace!
But wait - it was a call from a cellphone. Do you know what that means? Two things:
The call origination point is known by the wireless carrier from the instant the caller initiates the call, and
Even if the caller hangs up, the CDR (Call Data Record) contains the location information.
That old idea that you need to keep the caller on the line while you trace the call goes back to the days of analog phone calls using copper wires.
Today the time delay that matters is how long it takes to:
get the warrant, and
get the cooperation of the wireless carrier.
Once you have those two things, it doesn't matter how short the call is.
