This is an interesting example of green nudging. The word "Vegan" does indeed carry a lot of baggage that some people shy away from. If you label the same “Vegan” product as “Plant Based”, there is often less resistance.

I guess the water you mix with the wheat gluten powder can be flavoured - with vegetable stock or whatnot.
We're omnivores just trying to eat less meat rather than #vegan or #vegetarian (so far, anyway). I guess adding chicken stock back into seitan would be sort of missing the point...

Tempeh is an excellent source of protein and is really easy to produce in a home kitchen.
While most people think of soy tempeh, which I also make, my personal favourite is made with beluga lentils.This batch of lentils was sprouted before cooking to increase the bioavailability of the nutrients.
This tempeh has a great chewy texture and we love it air fried just as it is, no need to add any flavouring.

Serious question: what is the vegan/plant-based solution for folks like me who want to eat more veg but can’t always tolerate them well due to IBD/etc? As much as I love beans/hummus/shrooms/tofu, I haven’t found anything quite so nutrient-dense and digestible as animal protein. Even shakes and supplements don’t really satiate my hunger.
Again, this is a serious question.
