Remember pencils? They used to be one of my essential work tools for planning or figuring things out. Times have changed.
Anywho, I had occasion to actually sharpen a pencil (Ticonderoga, of course: I'm still stocked). Been a few years. Stuck the tip of the pencil into the sharpener... and nothing happened.
Because it had been so long, I'd forgotten it's not electric. It's a good ol' manual sharpener. Works great once you reread the instructions. ✏️ 🙄

I'm joining a d&d group on Friday, so I needed to design my character, a big haired Shadar Kai light cleric.
She uses a lot of candles and oils in her lamp staff.
quite like the idea she has to change lamp candles for concentration spells, and makes horrible magical oil from some dead monsters.
