O icone do firefox pinado tá só uma folha em branco na barra de tarefas. Como eu arrumo?

No gnome acho que seria editando o .desktop file.

Hm. Is there a renderer that can do "display foo.md beautifully in the terminal, and highlight whatever source line 123 contained (which is almost certainly not output line 123)"?

I have a collection of Markdown documents and would like to run full-text search on them, e.g. using , but I don't want the results to be displayed as raw Markdown, but instead be rendered in the terminal, but still see where the result is. Any ideas?

Help us test DNF 5.2 in Fedora Rawhide! In these test days we're focusing on the ability to do a system upgrade, so it's very important to catch any bugs.

Test Days for DNF 5.2 are running from Jun 5-12.

See how to participate: https://fedoramagazine.org/contribute-to-rawhide-test-days-dnf-5-2/

Just flashing KDE Neon onto a USB stick, and I'm planning to give it a live USB spin to see that (hopefully) nothing breaks 🤞

Personal goals for this summer:

  • Migrate my blogs off of CentOS 7 and Rackspace
  • Learn UBlue tools

Younger me thought that moving from WordPress to some custom Django thing to power my blogs was a good idea but migrating off now is a huge pain. Planning on going full static/markdown with Hugo.

The bigger problem is actually migrating my postfix server for all my sites to a new IP without Google, etc, freaking out about it and causing potentially important emails to not go through.

Switching to Linux is great. It’s main benefits are privacy (no tracking), customisability (make it suit you) and flexibility (no lock-in or drawbridging).

Autonomic has the skills to move entire organisations over to Linux. We’ve worked with a variety of clients from providing a few laptops to entire offices full of desktop machines that boot over the network using LTSP (https://ltsp.org/), access a share filesystem and can be reached remotely using a VPN.

Once the hill of the initial switchover has been climbed, the ease of supporting these systems is a dream for us and our clients.

It’s never “We’re sorry, we can’t do that”, it’s “hey, here are your options”.

How fast can you type? Find out with my new app, Keypunch!

I've worked on this for the last couple of months, and it's finally out. Keypunch lets you practice your typing skills with automatically generated pseudo-text in your language of choice. Alternatively, you can supply it with your own text, such as song lyrics, Wikipedia articles, and quotes. Get ready to accelerate your typing speed!

Get it on Flathub: https://flathub.org/apps/dev.bragefuglseth.Keypunch

Since Microsoft seems to not care about the #Privacy impact that the #Copilot+ #Recall feature has, I am going back to #Linux as my daily driver. All my #Homelab servers run on Debian or its derivatives, work servers run RedHat or Windows, but I have not used a Desktop Linux for quite a while as a daily driver. I've been playing with Debian 12 with Gnome for the past few days, and next I'll be playing with Fedora, which I have not used since the early 2000's. We'll see how fast I can catch up.
