You do understand that Kanefield (who I've followed for years on Twitter where she was on my Twitter Law list) is moving from one #Mastodon#Instance to another Mastodon instance, right?

Most people know me as Ivy Fox, hence the new scientific name mash-up.
I enjoy learning, listening (to radio, #podcast episodes, people), and making with #wool .
IMO the least interesting thing about me is chronic illness #spoonie & limited mobility so I tend not to mention that.
I think of selfhosting a single user instance with Hetzner. What VPS do you think would be sufficient/fitting? Please keep in mind, that I don't want to spend that much money on it.

If you are the #mastoadmin of a #Mastodon#instance that is more profitable than "hundreds of millions of loss every year" then congratulations, you have a social media platform that is more successful than Twitter.

A year since the #Twitter implosion... the #twittermigration and my #mastodon account start. Not only have I stopped checking all thems other sites for #news and #views, but #fediverse accounts in my #feed have completely supplanted even my habitual 2+ hrs of #Reddit scrolling; haven't been back there since THAT implosion.
