WEBDEVS: We just published the #torrent for this #icon pack over I2P. A benefit of using this icon is it cannot legally be used to link to non-#AGPLv3 servers like #Fbook's. It's only 1Mb so there are no excuses. 😋
It also gets worse than that in #Australia, ever since they started introducing draconian laws about a decade ago now! People are flat out just blocked from sending email when certain entities decree. They call it #cybersecurity but it really just blatant #censorship.
Some might also call it suppression/sabotage.
Don't use email. They is an protocol called #XMPP (Extensible Messaging & Presence Protocol). Jus run it over #I2P.

Let's not forget that MS Windows users are unable to download #I2P with a 'sig'/'asc' file at this time. Holiday periods are typically good times for people to install and learn new, great things like I2P, PGP (#gpg4win) and possibly linux. A positive experience with #PGP can go a long way.

FF really doesn't respect ppls donations. They are Goo-funded. Scamazon and Cloud(G)lare work through them too. A few years ago Mozilla snubbed bitcoin donations. Their priorities are clear.
Projects that seem to respect ppl and/or seem to need support/volunteers, include #I2P, #gNUSocial, FSF, #Parabola (gnulinux), #libreboot.at, ForgeFed, #OpenWRT, DeCloudflare.
So, back in 2015, there were multiple groups creating encrypted, anonymizing networks (many of which are still in operation today): #I2P, #Tor, #GNU, #Namecoin.
They went to the #IETF to standardize how browsers would handle their special top-level domains.
(I warned you this was nerdy).
The idea here was that if a user typed domain.i2p or domain.onion into a browser, the browser would leak that request to search engines or DNS servers.

The project’s technical coordinator is OID (NL) @koen with @nordunet for addressing the nordics Universities, NLNet for funding third parties (15% budget) and @tweagio for #NIX integration.
Are there plans for peer-to-peer content delivery on fediverse?
We believe that with a sustainable content delivery method the fediverse will slowly become re-centralised as it scales because only big servers will be able to handle 100TB of data for example.
A few months ago we were inspired to come up with a proposal to share fediverse content using #I2P, a popular privacy-respecting protocol, we called the proposal #GlutPlug.
