#ClimateDiary It’s spring and it’s wonderful. So much joy, beauty, abundance, grandeur from nature, just there, in my otherwise mundane neighbourhood. Bluebells feel very early, along with everything else, but i also want to relish and be grateful for all whilst we still have it. #FrugalAbundance#Gratitude
#Budget#UKPolitics This article by Gary Stevenson is so good, please read every word of it.
“Whatever Jeremy Hunt says, traders know the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer. And they’re paid millions to bet on it.”
This is what the world is - it is run by a minute elite for a minute elite and the rest of us, the masses, the natural world, we just don’t count. It is a #TragedyOftheNonCommons (will reshare my own piece on this below 1/n)
#FollowTheMoney 🧵 23/n. Sorry- one more! regarding #phenological knowledge - all the neighbourhood people who have taken delight in this #FrugalAbundance would probably be able to say when these #carmelia normally bloom - it just doesnt make it into formalized or academic knowledge.
I eat my breakfast on the northern verandah every day of the year and watch the sun come up. I started the ritual when my dining room floor was eaten by termites and was a void for six months. #FrugalAbundance#ClimateDiary

These fallen maple leaves on a gray and rainy winter’s day were somehow still vibrant against the stony sidewalk. It seemed like they were illuminating our way
