This chain survived in #Baltimore from post WWII originally as the Baltimore Salvage Company, then expanding from a Pratt Street storefront to about a dozen retail stores from Glen Burnie to Reisterstown to Perry Hall.

Im März rammte der Frachter "Dali" eine Autobahnbrücke in der US-Hafenstadt Baltimore, die daraufhin einstürzte. Nun ist ein weiterer Teil des Bauwerks gesprengt worden - um den Schiffsverkehr wieder zu normalisieren.

From the Minorcan Mullet stream¹, 1.5 nautical miles (2.7 km) away it's not possible to see if there is still a beam leaning on the ship, but a big chunk is embedded in the hull.
Anyway the ship didn't move, but seagulls are having a great lunch.
Who knows how many CEOs are kicking themselves because they don't have a container with their company's name on the bow of the Dali to have free advertising…
