From January to June last year I lived at home in the #UK and took driving lessons constantly in the hopes that I would be able to move to Ukraine with a license.
But after my 6th attempt, I needed a break and went to Ukraine without a license.
I got some driving practice in #Kharkiv to help with my friend's charity KHARPP that does some of the most effective work I have seen repairing homes and giving necessary #aid to villages in the Kharkiv region only a few km from the #Russian border.

The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has said that none of the aid group’s trucks have been permitted to pass through the Karem Abu Salem (Kerem Shalom) post, despite Israel’s claims that the border crossing had been reopened on Wednesday.
“We have no trucks going over. I have heard of no humanitarian trucks over Kerem Shalom,” NRC chief Jan Egeland told CNN.

A pier off the coast of Gaza to facilitate the distribution of humanitarian aid is scheduled to be finished and in operation in early May, but unanswered questions remain about how it will be run. U.S. President Biden ordered the construction of the pier in March after experts warned Gaza was facing potential famine. A United Nations official says the U.N. wants to use its own security to protect the World Food Program staff instead of the Israeli military, citing their desire to remain neutral in the conflict.
