@MonaApp Looking at all these high quality emojis and icons makes me sad that Mona doesn’t have an option to scale them. Notably because I use a condensed font so they appear very small and sometimes I can’t even identify the feeling expressed by some emojis on my phone. #please
We've rolled out a new feature on mastodon.social. You now have access to notification settings and can decide who you want to get notifications from. Everyone else will be put into notification requests you can peruse separately. There's a fresh coat of paint as well!

I already can’t enter an alt-text (OK button off the bottom of the screen and can’t scroll or zoom it back on) and now the mute-dialogue has gotten the same treatment… 😠

I masked today in doctor's office, like I always do indoors in general. But today it prompted two very loud individuals to converse how they dont need to mask unless they are feeling awful. (Other whom had cough, fever, and couldn't go to work because of those and was told to go to doctor's for a note and #Covid test!!)
Of course they just know if they are sick, it's not like you can get mild symptoms or be asymptomatic AND SPREAD Covid to those who could die!
I am happy to inform you that my doctor did wear a flimsy surgical mask at least, and when I had MRI some time ago the tecnician asked if i would be more comfortable if he masked too - with another flimsy surgical mask.
I do appreciate it though, the tiniest effort.
I just wish hospitals would give them proper masks to wear with us who try not to get sick again. I feel like it would make a big difference.
I used to have a page in my notebook with a list of “normal things to talk about” until my older brother (who is the worst) said that having a list like that was not normal. So I got rid of it. But that was years ago when I thought I could maybe come off as normal. I’ve given up on that.
