News / Nintendo Network Shutdown: Contribute SpotPass data now!
If you're familiar with the #WiiU and #3DS, you may know that SpotPass is one of the key components of the online services (particularly back when both consoles were still actively supported).
SpotPass will cease to exist once Nintendo Network shuts down and revival services such as @pretendo will need SpotPass data for some online services to function properly. Right now, data for SpotPass can be insufficient in places and in order to make sure it still works properly, they need your dumps.
If you have a unmodded/modded Wii U console or a modded 2DS/3DS console, please visit https://spotpassarchive.github.io/ to learn how to dump your data now. It's quick and easy to do and it won't take long. I did it personally myself last night

News / Sales: Animal Crossing New Horizons is discounted to £33.29 in Europe!
Just to let you all know, Nintendo has another sale going on in Europe. If you'd like to pick up New Horizons for the first time, it'll be discounted to £33.29 until April 7th!
I could be wrong but it looks like one of the first times that the Happy Home Paradise DLC is being discounted too, being reduced to £15.74.
21st century “semi-retro” nook coming along. Put up a shelf today which currently has the #WiiU on it along with a #NintendoSwitch dock below. Plan is to get a #PS2, #PS3 and #GameCube to go with it.
Agnes believes we need to expand freedom and equality to the citizens of Moduland. She is proposing a complete sharing of all resources with all citizens and, using island resources, to establish of a gnome / gyroid sanctuary in the southeast portion of the island.
Walt came up second saying we need more food options. He said we just need a few more sweet shops, maybe a deli, and a ramen place. He then took a bites of the sandwich he brought.
Ankha then came out swinging saying that she needs Matt to completely clean up the southeast island and turn it into an adorable, beach resort area for all villagers to visit and relax.
Arthur just kind of sat there to, somehow, raucous applause that I don't know where it came from.
Most of my gaming time recently has been spent shiny hunting in Pokémon Scarlet with my eldest which has been a lot of fun (pics of my shinies to come).
Tonight I went for a change of pace and have been playing Mario VS Donkey Kong on the Switch. It's been so long since I played it on the GBA it's all new to me again. The Japanese Sega Genesis NSO controller does indeed work on the American NSO app
Including showing the 6 button controller icon in the corner and showing the controller in the user guide. Even worked woth Comix Zone
I like that they used the MODE button for the NSO menu (Except for the one game on the service that uses the mode button but its not exactly required so sacrifice is fine)
I think the North American 3 button uses the same mode button thing but its kinda stupid because why would it have a mode button
Kinda weird that this doesnt register on the Switch's controller menu like other NSO controllers. Anyone know why or is it just they didnt feel like it. Does the NA 3 button one do this as well #NintendoSwitch#sega
