#EdgeMagazine from may 2024 comes with the gorgeous art of #CitizenSleeper2
If you didn't play the first installment of this #indie gem, please do. It's a tabletop-like #rpg weird choice-based #adventuregame with #queer and sexy characters. Can't go wrong with this one. For the 100% use a guide ;) oh, and #UnicornOverlord got a score of 9. Thanks, Edge! #videogames
March is nearing its end, so it's time to look back at what I have done!
Let's start with gaming: I started and completed Stray this month and it was a fascinating little game that was short and very enjoyable. You play as a cat and that by itself is jusr wonderful.
I played a lot of Balatro and it gave me the idea for my own cardgame, which I am actively working on.
Civ 6 is another mainstay. I managed to beat a game with Elizabeth in my fourth attempt!
I am still playing Alan Wake and I'm about 5 hours in now. It is fun and atmospheric, however the writing is sometimes hilariously bad. The FBI agent calling Wake by various writers names is the dumbest stuff so far. How would he even have heard about Lovecraft?
Also gave Unicorn Overlord a go, but didn't get enough time with it yet. So far, it's fascinating and I know I am going to love it.
Got Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden last week and that game is kinda amazing for focusing on the Adventure part of Action-Adventure. Very overlooked game!
There's nothing else to do in #UnicornOverlord I did everything, did the last battle two times (we can do it as many times as we want) all quests, everything, and now I don't feel like playing anything 😔 Maybe continue my 2nd playthrough of #TriangleStrategy So, in case I need some more #Vanillaware in my life, which one of these games would you recommend me to play first? #videogames#atlus#jrpg#rpg#shareyourgames
So far my only issues with #UnicornOverlord are all UI related, I wish there was a way to reset all your units (remove all members) and save formations you like, as managing who is in what unit and moving them around can get fiddly. And remembering what unit is good against which enemy type, eg anti-cavalry or whatever
Just stuff like that
Relatively minor complaints though really, game is amazing. I even like the story and the reviews I saw said it was poor (they're wrong)
I've encountered a surprising number of content creators who felt the need to preface their guide and tip videos for Unicorn Overlord with “…the unfortunately named Unicorn Overlord," or “I wasn't really following this game because of the name, 'cause who wants to be overlord of some unicorns?”
OK, first of all, I would LOVE to be the proprietor of a unicorn ranch. 🦄
Second, are we still trying to “defend” our masculinity from our own hobbies? In this economy? 🤨
The reviews were right, this game is excellent. I'm only a couple of hours in but loving it so far. It looks gorgeous. There's a lot to take in but it's introducing new mechanics at a comfortable pace for a SRPG newbie like me
Adding in the other pictures of what's included inside the box of Unicorn Overlord. These ones show off the Music Album, the artbook, and the box for the card game. Very interested to give the card game itself a try. #UnicornOverlord#NintendoSwitch#Atlus#ShareYourGames
Can we talk about #unicornoverlord …
What an incredible demo!
The graphics and artwork are stunning and the strategic gameplay is so satisfying.
I’m in love! 😍
I downloaded the Unicorn Overlord demo and started playing, it's quite fun! I like how the units auto-battle and there's a real time component to the strategy.
