Shoot your fireballs at an upwards angle, double jump with the cape. You also have your Mario 2 jumping what with the floating and the crouch charging jump. Level design accounts for all this of course.

Wifey is playing Super Mario Wonder now, since last night, just kinda chilling and playing semi-slow. She's in world 2 and the game looks AWESOME. Definitely lots of co-op potential too, you can even play as different colored Yoshis or Nabbit (when you play as those, you don't get hurt unless you fall off a cliff, but you can't use powerups).
REALLY great looking game. Her theory is that it was originally a Kirby game and they skinned it Mario. It's very Kirby-like in some aspects. Which is never a bad thing!

This movie was absolutely jam packed with references to the entire range of games and was a huge nostalgia trip for me from start to finish! Enjoyed the spin on Peach as the strong female lead also.
